Our Story
Romalite Empowerment began as a heartfelt candle-making project so our daughter Erica (who has Down syndrome and autism) could work with dignity and purpose after graduation. What started as a simple way to create meaningful work became something much deeper—a calling to share the lessons we've learned about finding light in the everyday challenges of caregiving.
Our blog grew out of real-life caregiving experiences, sharing what truly helps families: flexible planning tools, gentle daily rituals, honest stories about both struggles and unexpected gifts, and practical products that bring calm to busy days. Every story we share is rooted in authenticity—we write about what we've actually lived, tested, and found helpful in our own journey.
